The beautiful woodblock print 'Gunkaku-zu' (Flock of Japanese Red Crown Cranes) is by Korin Ogata (1658–1716), a renowned Japanese Nihon-ga painter of the Rinpa school. Originally painted during the Edo period (17th–18th century), this print was published by Tansei-sha in 1983. The publisher seal, printer's name 'Keiichi Nakamura,' and carver's name 'Sadao Uetani' are located in the right margin. Its elegant and sophisticated design makes it a perfect fit for modern decor as well. It comes with an original explanation paper. (only Japanese, no English)

Condition: Excellent condition.  Minor ink smudge on the bottom margin edge, which will be easily matted out. Once tipped on the top corners of the verso. Please see the pictures.
