Wonderful woodblock print "Asakusa Kinryuzan" (Kinryuzan Temple at Asakusa) is by Hiroshige Ando (1797-1858). From the series Edo Meisho (Famous Places in Edo). Re-carved edition. Published by Yuyudo. Publisher's seal, Carver's seal "Koike Shigeru", and Printer's name "Ito Taro" on the lower right margin. Title on the upper right corner of the image. Calligraphy (Haiku) in the upper center of the image. Artist signature on the left side. Original publisher seal "Aritaya" at the lower bottom of the image. High-quality print by a famous publisher. Beautiful composition and superb details.

Print size: 15 and 1/4 x 10 and 1/4 inches (38.5 x 26 cm)
Image size: 13 and 5/8 x 8 and 7/8 inches (34.5 x 22.5 cm)
Date: Originally printed in the 1840s.  This is a re-carved edition in the Showa era. (1980's)
Signed: Signature on the upper left of the image.
Condition: Excellent condition.
