The truly elegant woodblock print "Fuka Senrin" (Floating Camellia and Carp) is by Gyoshu Hayami (1894-1935). Published by Tanseisha. Titled, 'Fuka Senrin', Carver's name; Sadao Uetani, Printer's name, Kurazo Yoneda, and Tanseisha's publisher seal on the right margin. Gyoshu's signature and a red seal on the upper right corner of the image. Peaceful image of a large Koi fish with several floating camellia. Very relaxing and tranquil print. 

Gyoshu Hayami (1894-1935) was a Nihonga (Japanese painting) artist. He died quite young. He left many masterpieces in his short life, and "Meiju Chiri Tsubaki"(Camellia Petals Scattering)  was first designated as an important cultural artwork in the Showa period.

Condition: Very good condition. Minor toning. Some minor spots on the margins as shown. The bottom edge of the verso has a tape stain from the previous framing. Please see the picture.
