Beautiful woodblock print "Secchu matsu ni Oshidori" (Snow-covered Pine tree and Mandarin ducks) is by Ōkyo Maruyama (1735-1795)  A pair of Mandarin ducks means happiness in love. The pine tree is a good luck motif in Japan. Ōkyo Maruyama began as a student of the so-called Kano painting school in Kyoto. He became famous for his depiction of natural subjects in Chinese influenced style. Published by Unsodo. Artist name "Maruyma Ōkyo", the title "Secchu matsu ni Oshidori", Carver's name "Unknown", printer's name "Ueba"  on the left margin. Unsodo seal on the right margin. This is later print from the original woodblocks (Meiji era)
